I experienced an unexpected treat playing in the beautiful surrounds of the Yellow Room in Woodstock House last evening. A group of French visitors gathered for a photograph around the harp. I couldn’t resist playing a well known French song as they arranged themselves. When they started to recognise the melody, they began to hum, and when I sang the lyrics, they needed no encouragement, joining in with great gusto and enthusiasm. A wonderful moment for this harpist and such fun!
